US DAP barge values extended gains as buyers prepare for the upcoming fall application season amid import-driven supply concerns.
A second-half March DAP barge this morning traded at $950/st fob Nola, $25/st higher than trade on 4 March, as long-term supply uncertainty stemming from Russia's invasion of Ukraine compounds with a seasonal uptick in demand at the port.
Sellers continue to cite comparatively tighter DAP supply, versus MAP, amid expectations for a thin first quarter import line-up.
