<article><p class="lead">US plate maker Nucor kept its plate prices for December flat.</p><p>The company announced on 3 November that it would keep its ex-works discrete plate prices for December flat at $1,620/short ton (st). The announcement is the second consecutive time Nucor has kept discrete plate prices flat after lowering them by $120/st on 19 September. </p><p>Cut-to-length prices were also kept flat. </p><p>The <i>Argus</i> US plate ex-works price has been mostly flat around $1,620/st since Nucor's mid-September price decrease. </p><p class="bylines">By Rye Druzin</p></article>
