Egyptian fertilizer producer Kima's urea and ammonia plants returned to full capacity today.
The 570,000 t/yr granular urea and 430,000 t/yr ammonia plants at Aswan had been operating at 70pc since 8 March.
Fellow producer NCIC also had technical problems at its 362,000 t/yr granular urea plant at the end of last week, but resumed production on Monday, after two days of a full shutdown.
Meanwhile, Abu Qir is planning two weeks' maintenance at its 578,000 t/yr prilled urea and ammonia plants in the second half of April. No other Egyptian producers have announced plans for maintenance in the near future.
